From the 25th of August to the 4th of July The Mixit studio door will be wide open for this course and everyone is welcome. It is an introduction to dance styles from around the world including salsa and flamenco , among others. The more the merrier so its fun times all round! It’s going to a blast – informal intros to a world of wildly different social dance styles. Two weeks in each style guided by top dance specialists. The final session is a social event/party where we will dance through all 5 styles together with friends and family, followed by a shared supper.

Mixit is Performing Again!

Wendy, Tahi and Tawanda have taken the bare bones of the amazing show “Bitter Sweet” and have made a condensed version suitable for an outdoor setting to take to the Auckland International Cultural Festival.

Come and support the young Mixers on the 29th of March 2015, as they jump on the Dance Stage at 1.38pm.

It will be loud, colourful and bold. It will be Mixit!

In conjunction with this, on the 21st of March 2015, the Governor General of New Zealand has invited Mixit to attend and perform at a private function to mark Race Relations Day

See you at the Festival!
