The Mixit Story
This is the story of a small community initiative that uses creativity as a tool to support young people as they walk the fine line between their past and present, and determine their own futures. It is about the development and growth over ten years of a project that supports those from former-refugee and migrant backgrounds, using the vehicle of participation in a creative process to build capacity, resilience and optimism in order to move forward positively. '
'Mixit: It's all of us' features a tapestry of information, stories, voices and images that convey the project's transformational impact on the lives of those who have passed through and currently stand at the centre of the work.

We are a Charitable Trust which means that all donations of $5 or more are eligible for a tax rebate. We send out our tax donation receipts each year in April or May (just after the end of the NZ tax year) with a little update of what we've been doing for the last year.
