Ilknur Ozbal
Youth leaders
Ilknur joined the Youth Leader programme in early 2019. When she's not busy focusing on her Year 13 studies at Waitakere College you'll find her keeping active through playing sports and going to the gym. She is also interested in promoting the value diversity and encouraging people to be happy with their differences.

Younis Ahmat Abdallah
Youth leaders
Younis Ahmat Abdallah has been part of the Mixit family for 3 years, and joined our Youth Leadership programme in 2018. He is currently in Year 13 at Mangere College, and also studies Building at MIT. When he finishes school he hopes to become a builder and actor.

Oumaima Ahmat Abdallah
Youth Leader
Oumaima has been coming to Mixit for 4 years, and is the third in her family to become a Mixit Youth Leader. She is about to start year 12 at Mangere College and loves learning new languages, fashion design and watching Kdramas. After school Oumaima wants to become a fashion designer and actress because she really enjoys exploring her creative side, and wants that to be part of her future. She loves how Mixit is mixed with different cultures around the world, and how they don’t judge you for who you are, and how they support you and your family.
Faizan Loun
Youth leaders
Faizan started coming to Mixit in 2019, and was recently appointed as a Junior Youth Leader. He is excited to learn new things, work with the Mixit team and to have fun with his fellow Youth Leaders. He says " When i come here, whatever is intense or unhappy, I let it all out. Everyone enjoys what they are doing and we are all friends at Mixit. I enjoy playing and get happiness from sharing". Faizan loves working with computers and playing new sports. When he finishes school he hopes to become an IT engineer.

Sajal Taneja
Youth Leader
Sajal started coming to Mixit in 2019, and was appointed as a junior Youth Leader in early 2020. He loves coming to Mixit to socialise and build his creative skills. “I come here for enjoyment, at the end of every Saturday I feel like I should come next week, it’s the best place for anyone to enjoy, do, create and increase creativity.”

Mu Nyay
Youth leaders
Mu Nyay has been coming to Mixit since 2013. She was appointed as a Youth Leader in 2018, and enjoys contributing to the Youth Leadership programme through spending time on the floor. "I love it when I’m on the floor because I can’t think of anything but having fun and I believe that everyone feels the same way as me." In year 13 at St Dominic's, her dream is to become a Professional Dancer or Police Officer.
